Rice Harvest Completed in DPRK​

Rice harvesting was completed in rural areas of the DPRK one week earlier than last year.

Officials, agricultural workers and helpers of South Hwanghae Province, the country's biggest agricultural province, made a dynamic drive to bring the rice harvest to a close.

South Phyongan Province, too, achieved good results by waging a dynamic drive to carry out rice harvesting in a short span of time.

All efforts are now being concentrated on the transport of rice sheaves and threshing.
