Meticulous love for Pyongyang Citizens

It was one day in April, Juche 49 (1960).

President Kim Il Sung went by a store fairly frequented by a great crowd of people during his inspection tour of the city.

It was a district wholesale store. They were selling a variety of agricultural products and meat purchased from farm villages on the outskirts of the city.

The store had opened for only 10-odd days but a lot of people were visiting the store to buy foodstuffs.

After learning in detail about the situation, he was very much satisfied and said that they should sell plenty of agricultural and livestock products to the citizens.

Watching the citizens and shop assistants exchanging friendly greetings in the store, he told them they should satisfy the various needs of the customers like also selling roast chestnuts and sweet potatoes, boiled sweet maize and so on.

He said that in this way, the store would thrive and the people would enjoy themselves.
