Rangnang Museum Offers Glimpse into History and Culture of Ancient Korea
Many people visit the Rangnang Museum which was inaugurated in September.
The museum showcases the Rangnang Culture created by Korean ancestors.
The Rangnang Culture dating back to the period from the 3rd century B.C. to the first half of the 4th century A.D. in the late Ancient Korea period can be found in the areas of midwest Korea from the south of the Chongchon River to the Ryesong River basin centering on Pyongyang.
The museum consists of sections of historical education and folk games plus resting places.
In its centre is a two-storey museum building, a collection of the Rangnang Culture.

The second floor is divided into the sections of Rangnang Culture review, castle, tomb, weapons, harrow, makeup and accessory, container and sci-tech achievements.
On display are data showing the Rangnang Culture and nearly 2 000 pieces of historical relics in a hundred and tens of kinds.
Around the museum building are places for indoor folk games, outdoor folk games, resting places and old tombs.
The museum has a national restaurant specializing in various traditional dishes.
The Rangnang Museum serves as a center for education instilling the Korean nation-first spirit into the people.
